Presentation
As part of her role as a member of the Connexions Local Management Committee (LMC) one young woman designed and delivered a presentation (including writing her own notes) to the LMC. The presentation was about the Hear by Right document which sets out 7 standards for the active involvement of young people in services. The young woman facilitated groupwork activities to the LMC, drew together responses from the individual groups and then held a vote as to whether the LMC should take on the Hear by Right standards.
As part of the membership of the LMC all young people work toward a Nationally Accredited Award. This presentation formed part of this.
