Children and Young People Participation Zone

Involving children and young people in your work

Welcome to the Children and Young People Participation zone!

Charter for Young People in NottsIn Nottinghamshire we value the contribution children and young people can make to the design, development, delivery and evaluation of our services.

In both the City and the County we have developed and adopted Strategies across Children and Young Peoples services for the Participation of Children and Young People. These set out our shared vision and expectations for Children and Young Peoples services. We aim to work together to achieve this. We know that in order to do so, we need to share good practice and work together to support organisations to develop.

Through our work across the partnership with children and young people over recent years we have learnt a great deal and developed a range of tools, strategies and policies to support effective participation. This zone is all about sharing those things with you.

Across the Partnership, we have also been involved in regional and national developments around children and young people’s participation and that material is here to share with you too.

Please use any of the materials and information on this zone and amend them to suit your own organisation.
