All agencies working with children and young people in Nottinghamshire recognise the need to have a well trained, qualified, highly skilled and well supported workforce who can effectively deliver services to children and young people and make a real difference to their lives.
The 'Nottinghamshire Children and Young People Workforce Strategy' and supporting Action Plan provide our vision and a framework for continual improvement. They demonstrate the commitment of all agencies in Nottinghamshire to continue to build and develop an effective and diverse workforce with the knowledge and skills to meet the needs of our children and young people. We are committed to working together to support effective recruitment, induction and training across agencies and developing integrated qualifications and ways of working.
This strategy shows how we will develop our already strong existing workforce and structures to build an even stronger, highly skilled workforce for the future.
