This year's Resources Fair, held in June 2008, was well attended by teachers, librarians and Connexions PAs.
Paul Foreman and Dianne Purdy (pictured) did an opening presentation followed by an exhibition with a wide range of resources provided by Cascaid, Prospects and VT Lifeskills.
We also offered two workshops: Virtual Careers Library Workshop and Special Needs workshop.
Both Information Managers would like to extend a big thanks to David Holding, Gordon Murdoch, Jonathan Lightfoot, Debra Colfer, Peter Jones, Peter Hulse and Annie Van Heerden.

Connexions Library Audits
Please speak to your Personal Adviser about this year's library audits. It is particularly important that an effective Connexions Library (paper based or virtual) is maintained as all schools that have signed up to do the new Diplomas will also have made a commitment to Career Mark.
A vital element of Career Mark is a Connexions Library assessment. Please involve the Information team at an early stage. It would be disappointing to fail Career Mark on the basis that you have failed your library standards.
If you have any queries please feel free to contact Dianne Purdy on 0115 983 8955.
