Real Game

The Real Game Series logo A number of schools use the Real Game Series to support the citizenship curriculum and help young people develop real life skills.

The Make It Real Game (for Years 6 and 7) provides teachers with a versatile and easy to use resource that can be used in a variety of curriculum areas.

The Real Game (for Years 8 and 9) promotes effective learning in the areas of careers, citizenship and PSHE and also provides many opportunities for links to other curriculum areas and between the school and the wider community. NB this version of the Real Game series can now only be purchased with a site licence for use as an online resource.

The Be Real Game (for years 10 and 11) is designed to support teachers and schools in responding to the new requirements for the non-academic elements of the curriculum, including CEG, PSHE and Citizenship.

New Real Game offline version and Real Game Online version news!

Real Game offline
A new product is being produced in the Real Game series. It is a hard copy pack that can be purchased to play the Real Game in a traditional classroom.

The resource will comprise detailed lesson plans, photocopiable masters and a CD with the in class presentations and games. The CD will enable schools to play the new games that were produced as part of the 2006 online version, requiring a PC and projector only. Students use traditional worksheets which can be copied or purchased in full colour pads.

AVAILABITY: Real Game offline is available from May, 2008 and can be purchased at a special introductory price of £250 +VAT.

Real Game Online
The online version is still available and accessed via a site licence. Schools with a licence can still play the game traditionally without students requiring pc access if they wish.
