The LSC provided funding for Connexions staff to visit all schools in the county (apart from Independent schools) in the summer term of 2005 in order to undertake a detailed audit of CEG provision. This work was commissioned by the 14-19 Area Strategy Groups (ASGs).
In all, 84 institutions were audited with 7 schools declining to participate. Below is an overview of the results for the whole of Nottinghamshire. Two key trends to emerge were – the great variety of types and levels of school staff involved in delivering guidance and careers education; and the small amount of review and evaluation of the CEG programme taking place.
The basis on which the Audit was undertaken means that we are unable to publish the results for any individual schools. ASGs have already had details of the results for their own geographical area. If you have any questions about the Audit then please contact Alison Skellern.
