Millenium Volunteers, Nottinghamshire

Millennium Volunteers, Nottinghamshire is looking for groups of 16-24 year olds across Nottinghamshire to work towards its Award of Excellence.

Funded through until March 2006 MV Notts are currently recruiting across the county and are keen to attract a diverse range of groups to the scheme. We are already working with 135 young people but have the capacity to engage many more than this.

Similarly to Weston Spirit, MV is an add on to current youth and community projects. MV can provide accreditation for the members of your group through its awards scheme and can provide funding to help your group develop a new idea, start a new project or support an existing initiative.

By providing its own programme of events such as training days, socials and residential breaks (most of which are free of charge) MV can also help you to broaden the experiences available to your group and help the young people to mix outside their normal social circle.

MV also works with individuals and can provide supported high quality voluntary placements across the county for those who are interested.
