The toolkit is a jointly branded Connexions / Association of Colleges document and aims to provide practical and useful information about how Connexions can contribute to and support colleges’ student support services and work more effectively with college staff. It also serves as a useful source of reference on advice and guidance in colleges.
The Making Connexions in Further Education toolkit was published and distributed at the end of May 2004, with two copies of the toolkit being issued to each college, one to the principal and one to the student support manager. Two copies of the toolkit were also issued to each Connexions partnership.
