Welcome

from Jean Pardoe, Chief Executive

"Jean Pardoe, Chief ExecutiveHello and welcome to our new-look website. I hope that you find it more user-friendly and can hit upon all the information you're looking for. As well as a brand new look, the website also has a whole host of up-dated information.

Look out also for:

As a service, our purpose is to provide quality guidance, support and personal development services for all 13-19 year olds in Nottinghamshire. The most important aspect of the service is the involvement of our county's young people. Since its inception, young people have been involved in all aspects of the service: the designing of the centres and promotional material, recruitment of staff and the origination of the policies and strategies that lead the service delivery.

We are in our 3rd year now as a Connexions Service and getting better all the time. We have recorded some impressive achievements in the last year, not least smashing all the Government targets and encouraging record numbers of young people back into Education, Employment and Training. We hope to further improve this year and look forward to continuing to work closely with young people, professionals, parents, carers and our partner organisations to ensure that more choice is available for all young people.

The Connexions website is an important element of our armoury, and as well as this, the main cnxnotts website, we also have satellite sites sortitonline – an up-to-date and dedicated site for all 13 to 19 year olds – and Vacancies Online, which contains all the latest job vacancies from around the county.

The re-launch of our cnxnotts website is just the beginning, we will be developing and growing the site all the time so remember to keep up-to-date with what's happening at Connexions Nottinghamshire by regularly visiting us."
